Leaving the United States

Guten Morgen! Guten Tag!

We will be leaving the states this afternoon to start our Munich adventure and can not believe the day has finally come. It feels like only yesterday Brad was speaking to the Munich partners to discuss the possibility of us going overseas and now we are actually leaving. This past year has been a complete whirlwind and we are so lucky to have this amazing opportunity.

We are scheduled to arrive in Munich tomorrow afternoon (5:30 AM - Central Time/3:30 AM - Pacific Time) and will be heading to our temporary accommodations to relax. We already have our weekend planned as Brad recently found out that our corporate housing is right next to one of the beer tents for Oktoberfest, so we think it is only appropriate to spend our first full day in Munich drinking and celebrating the festival's 200th year. Then Sunday will be a full day of exploring the districts we think we want to live in (Schwabing, Altsadt or Lehel) as Monday morning is the start of our flat search.
