The Gauntletts had a big day as we headed to the largest MediaMart in Munich and it definitely puts Best Buy to shame. We bought our first European electronics (an iron and hairdryer) and are looking forward to not having to use ones in the hotel for the next month. We also found an extremely large market, which contains several American products as well as .1% fett milch (Munich’s Skim Milk). This mart also had whole wheat pasta, so we decided to make his favorite dinner, spaghetti. After getting a few more items, we headed back to our hotel in Gern to drop off our purchases and then walked around Maxvorstadt. We had lunch at a Turkish fast food place (again), where Brad got a Döner and I had the falafel. Afterwards, we walked around the area and then headed to the BMW museum for a bit prior to heading back to our hotel. Time to make dinner in our amazing kitchen!!!
