Waffles anyone?

James and Cheryl, the couple who is on rotation from the Richmond office and will be returning to the states next March, invited us and another couple over for waffles, mimosas and delicious apples. They went to an apple picking festival in the country yesterday and spent the rest of the weekend making apple treats –apple sauce, muffins, etc. It was a wonderful afternoon with great food and company. I did learn something very interesting this afternoon about water conservation in Europe. While showering, you turn the water off during shampooing/conditioning your hair and soaping. I think I will try that the next time I am in the shower.

However, on our way back to the hotel, I started to feel ill and believe it is the same thing Brad had right before we came to Munich. Therefore, I spent the evening in bed watching “Arrested Development” (a hilarious show) while Brad did Rosetta Stone and prepared for his first day at Allianz. Hopefully it will be a quick recovery and I will feel better by tomorrow.

Gute Nacht. viel Liebe – die Gauntletts
